I am officially DVF'd out. I've got plenty of nice basics to update my ratty old basics, and few funky items to make me happy (like the knit hats with the giant pom poms all over them, btw, got 2 compliments on that hat this past weekend). I bought 3 things online from Saks, and returned 2 of them due to shortness and/or ugliness, but I'm waiting for a way overindulgent Neiman online splurge to get delivered. Let's hope all my stress-headache related eating will result in nothing actually fitting. That being said, I would be lying if I said I was not very excited when I received a postcard on the last of the big 3 department store pre-sale sales.
The Barneys one week only sale starts on Thursday, Nov 19th and you can up to 40% off on selected items. The most interesting thing about this sale is that it includes shoes, unlike Saks and Neiman. I'll have to at least take a peek this week.
Hopefully I'll get all this "shopping as medication" out of me before all the real sales start after Thanksgiving.
