If I could find a way to make that headline flash and honk, I would, because I really do love sales. And the sales are just starting to trickle in. I'm sure you are all well aware of the Nordstrom half-yearly sale. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Nordstrom, but it really depends on which store you go to. Whenever I wander into a Nordstrom, I find myself buying a bunch of stuff I really have no business buying, feeling heaps of buyer's remorse soon after. But it is my go-to place for socks and stockings!
The other sale starting online today (Nov 4), and starting in-stores on Nov 5th is Saks Fifth Avenue. 40% off! They claim prices go back up on November 9th, but I'm sure that is only until they drop prices again after Thanksgiving. Keep in mind, everyone seems to have bought less inventory this year, so if you find something you really love, you should probably try to get it now while they still have it.
Now, I'm just waiting for Barneys and Neiman to announce their sales. The "Co-Op" version of Neiman, called The Cusp is having a sale now both online and in-store (only store in SoCal is in Century City Mall), with savings up to 40%.
Good times! Have fun shopping, and don't forget to buy the occasional holiday gift for someone before you completely blow your budget.
