On one of my daily emails from Neiman, I discover that they are having a promotion where you need to find various colored butterflies on the website and depending on the color, you get a gift card. The catch is that you have to spend a minimum of $200 to get the lowest gift card. I decide I'm going to figure out which of the four colors offers the biggest gift card. After maybe 30 minutes or so, I find that the purple butterfly will get me a $50 gift card with a $200 purchase. Now I just have to figure out what to purchase. Strangely enough, I decide I'm only going to purchase gifts. I buy something for my niece, my nephew, and my sister/brother-in-low, and get to just over $200. I hope that my gift card ships with the items. Sadly it doesn't. But it does light a fire under my ass that I should have redeemed my NM points weeks ago for gift cards so I wouldn't be spending my hard-earned cash on all these purchases. I go ahead and redeem in the hope that i will get these gift cards in time to finish my holiday shopping. Please, please, please, let me get these cards soon! My intentions are good, right?
